Students from more than 250 colleges and universities across the country gathered at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital June 12-15 for the ninth annual St. Jude Collegiate Leadership Seminar. Schools represented at this year’s event included the University of Virginia, Oregon State University, Western Kentucky University and Clemson University.
During the weekend-long seminar, students had the opportunity to tour the hospital, attend a “Meet the Patients” panel and learn how to coordinate successful fundraising events. On the seminar’s final night, students attended the AutoTrader.com Awards Dinner, where three students received scholarship awards based in part on their support of St. Jude. After the awards dinner, students participated in a finale event that included live music, games and even a visit from Elvis.
