Sponsored by MillerCoors, the St. Jude Halloween Promotion began in 1992 when St. Jude regional offices introduced the “Cool Ghoul” Halloween pinup to local beer distributors. MillerCoors launched this unique fundraising promotion to the MillerCoors family network. In the first year, more than 40 MillerCoors distributors nationwide participated in the program and raised $174,000. Of the $1.2 million the program raised in 1993, $800,000 came from the MillerCoors distributors. Since its inception, the St. Jude Halloween Promotion has raised more than $41 million for St. Jude.
Casey’s General Store has participated in the St. Jude Halloween Promotion for nine years. Since becoming a partner, Casey’s has raised more than $1.8 million. Casey’s General Store was established in 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa. Through the years, Casey’s has become more than just a convenience store. Their success can be attributed to clean stores, restrooms and the friendly employees who pride themselves in customer service.
The 2008 promotion was the ninth year that Hess Corporation has participated in the St. Jude Halloween Promotion. Hess began in 2000 with 80 Florida stores raising $15,000. In 2008, Hess locations raised $225,000. In 2008, TravelCenters of America LLC, through its TA and Petro branded locations nationwide raised more than $413,000 for the St. Jude Halloween Promotion. In 2003, Petro Stopping Centers became a national Halloween partner. From 2003 to 2007 Petro Stopping Centers raised $287,000. TravelCenters of America LLC (TA), headquartered in Westlake, Ohio, is a leading travel center business in 41 states and Canada operating under the TravelCenters of America and Petro brands.
2008 marked the eighth year that Buffalo Wild Wings has participated in the St. Jude Halloween Promotion.  Buffalo Wild Wings has raised more than $2 million since beginning its partnership with St. Jude. Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar is one of the Top 10 fastest-growing restaurant chains in the country. Their concept is more than just a New York-style wing joint with 14 signature sauces. They are also a sports bar, complete with a full menu featuring everything from salads to appetizers to burgers, and a variety of specialty items.

Fox and Hound Restaurant Groups has participated in the St. Jude Halloween Promotion since 2006. Since the partnership, Fox and Hound, Champps and Bailey’s stores nationwide have raised more than $1 million for the kids of St. Jude.
