Brooks Brothers
With a genuine culture of caring, Brooks Brothers has raised almost $6 million since 2005 through the St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign.
In 2011 alone, Brooks Brothers raised nearly $1.7 million, its highest contribution yet. Each year brings renewed passion for the partnership with St. Jude, and 2011 was no exception. Winners of the 2011 St. Jude Thanks and Giving employee incentive contest and team members all visited the hospital.
Since first joining the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign, Brooks Brothers has dramatically expanded its program. In 2011, Brooks Brothers allowed customers to add a donation to their purchases and offered nine exclusive items benefitting St. Jude. This included Brooksie and Brooke stuffed bears, the children’s book Tales from Brooks Brothers: Introducing Henry’s Unsuitable Adventure, a set of four Christopher Radko ornaments, a silk tie, cookies and panettone in collectible Paul Brown tins, and men’s and boy’s polo shirts.
Brooks Brothers’ Golden Fleece Foundation also held a shopping event for St. Jude. And teams of associates across the country participated in the St. Jude Give thanks. Walk.™ as Brooks Brothers again served as a national platinum sponsor for the second year in a row, raising more than $90,000.
Brooks Brothers hosted the Golden Fleece Foundation two-day shopping event with 2 percent of net sales benefiting St. Jude. The company also donated 10 percent of profits from it's annual Holiday Celebration at their flagship store to St. Jude and partnered with MasterCard on a matching gifts promotion.
Brooks Brother's dedication to St. Jude is proof of its commitment to the well-being of children in communities everywhere.
