CVS/pharmacy, the retail division of CVS Caremark Corporation, is America's leading retail pharmacy with more than 7,100 CVS/pharmacy stores in 41 states and Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. In 2004, CVS/pharmacy signed on to become a St. Jude partner for the inaugural Thanks and Giving® campaign.

In 2011, CVS/pharmacy raised $6.1 million for St. Jude through its participation in Thanks and Giving. Funds raised in-store at CVS/pharmacy through Thanks and Giving are directed toward the CVS Caremark Rehabilitation Services Center on the St. Jude campus. CVS/pharmacy has raised more than $31 million for the mission of St. Jude.

CVS/pharmacy feels that its partnership with St. Jude is a natural extension of its company vision to improve the quality of human life. "Over the years, CVS/pharmacy customers and colleagues have raised more than $25 million dollars to support the countless children and families who benefit from the great work being done at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital," said Eileen Howard Boone, senior vice president, Corporate Communications and Community Relations, CVS Caremark. "We are so proud that our participation in the Thanks and Giving campaign has supported the addition of the CVS Caremark Rehabilitation Services Center to truly help children reach their greatest potential by eliminating barriers so they can lead a healthy, happy life during their rehabilitation."

The expansion of the Rehabilitation Services Center, made possible by CVS Caremark's support, has positioned St. Jude to become a world leader in pediatric oncology rehabilitation education. The new facility has doubled the space dedicated to providing audiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language pathology services to St. Jude patients.
