Marion DuBois, MPH

Marion earned her baccalaureate from Louisiana State University with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry. She continued her education at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA and earned a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology.
The importance of Marion’s current position at St. Jude’s Baton Rouge Affiliate is to ensure accurate, complete, and timely transmission of patient records to the primary research site. She is responsible for data management and the creation of the monthly census report. This position includes maintaining proper status of research treatment protocols. She keeps current documentation of affiliate staff’s licensure, certifications, and memberships. She also handles patient billing from outside facilities.
Her previous work experience includes: Clinic Director at Volunteer Health Corps, Case Tech in Surgery at Baton Rouge General Medical Center, Epidemiologist Intern at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, and Public Health Grad Student Worker at Louisiana’s HIV/STD Office of Public Health.
