Research Interests

I am a pediatric cancer genetic counselor with a passion for helping patients and their families understand and adapt to complex genetic information.

Specific research interests include:

  • Exploring genotype/phenotype correlations for newly discovered cancer predisposition syndromes
  • Understanding the psychosocial impact that growing up with a cancer predisposition syndrome may have on patients and their families and identifying appropriate resources and interventions
  • Examining the impact of cancer surveillance protocols on patient and family life
