I joined the Department of Biostatistics at St. Jude in 2001 after graduating from Iowa State University. I am so grateful that my journey at St. Jude has helped me grow both personally and professionally with support from the wonderful team leaders and the great team members whom I can always count on. I love working at St. Jude, which helps me to see a direct connection between my career and the life-saving work at St. Jude. The best reward from my job is the professional enhancement that has enabled me to provide more efficient and high quality statistical support and advice to translational and clinical investigators in our institution. My ability to fulfill my job responsibilities has been improved through collaborative work with many diligent clinicians and scientists who dedicate themselves to finding cures for children with cancers and other catastrophic diseases. People often say that motivation doesn't last, to me, St. Jude is such wonderful and unique place and it is wonderful feeling to be recognized as a valuable member of team dedicated improves not only the cure rate of ALL but also improve the patients’ quality of life.
