Kelvin Womack joined St. Jude in September 2019 as the Hospital’s first Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion. Prior to St. Jude, Kelvin gained over 30 years of technology, business strategy and human capital consulting experience serving clients across multiple industries, including, the Department of Defense, Federal Health and Human Services, Military Health and commercial and non-profit healthcare organizations.
Kelvin has advised cabinet-level departments of the federal government and C-level commercial clients across multiple industries on strategies to develop leaders and inclusive cultures. This experience, combined with his five years of experience serving as the Managing Principal for Diversity for the Deloitte US Firms gives him a unique set of perspectives on how to assess, create and implement initiatives that cultivate diverse and inclusive cultures as well as the leadership skills needed to make them successful.
Kelvin is a public speaker on topics related to leadership, diversity and inclusion, addressing audiences at organizations such as Johns Hopkins University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Wharton, Florida State, The University of Maryland, The National Association for Black Accountants, The Association for Latino Professionals of America, Diversity Inc. Magazine, Out and Equal and the National Association for Health Services Executives (NAHSE).
He served 9 years as a US Marine Corps Officer prior to his consulting career.
