The National Symposium for Undergraduate Research (NSUR) is a competitive academic program that allows early-career scientists to showcase their research work in poster and oral platform settings and improve their presentation skills while also learning about the cutting-edge research and facilities at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The goals of the symposium are to feature research from top early-career scientists, to introduce St. Jude as a premier research institution, and to promote the recruitment of exemplary undergraduate students for the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

On June 14-15, 2019, the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences welcomed 47 undergraduate, master’s, and postbaccalaureate students to Memphis to present their research in the 4th annual NSUR.
