Are you ready to leave your mark?

Join us for the St. Jude Volunteer Leadership Conference February 6 – 9, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee.

We are bringing together over 700 of the most dedicated volunteers combining all St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer, St. Jude Heroes and Dinner, Gala & Golf Committee members to learn from the best of the best!

You’ll have the opportunity to tour St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, hear from inspirational speakers, participate in breakout sessions while networking and brainstorming with fellow committee leaders from across the country.  Together, through the sharing of our ideas, challenges and successes, we will grow our events and increase awareness and fundraising dollars to support the work done at St. Jude. We look forward to seeing you in February to leave your mark and help further the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: Finding cures. Saving children.®

For any arrivals after 3pm, we will have a smaller registration area until 6pm.

    • You will receive your name badge and helpful information.   Please wear your name badge during the entire conference.
    • For those driving into Memphis, self-parking fees are included with your hotel stay for the nights ALSAC/St. Jude are covering.
  2. Dress Code

    • The recommended attire for the entire conference is business casual/nice jeans.
    • On Friday we will be doing tours on campus, please wear comfortable shoes, as there will be a lot of walking.
    • We encourage you to bring a sweater as the hotel conference rooms may vary in temperature.
    • NOTE:  The average monthly temperature for the month of February in Memphis is in the low 40’s. Log on to www.weather.com for a current update.
  3. Cancellation Policy:

    • If for some reason you are unable to attend the Volunteer Leadership Conference, please call your ALSAC/St. Jude representative as soon as possible, so that we can cancel your room reservation. ALSAC/St. Jude is obligated to pay for “no shows” or last-minute cancelations.
  4. Fun Run

Coach Kevin and Molly Quinn will be hosting a fun run and walk on Friday morning at 6am, with the meeting place being in front of the Union Ave entrance of the Peabody Hotel. All are welcome to join, as we will have people running or sporty walking at all different paces! The run will be approximately 30 minutes. Please make sure to pack accordingly – running in the winter is quite an adventure!

  5. Hospital Day:

During your tour on the campus of St. Jude, you will learn about the lifesaving work conducted every day at St. Jude as you meet patients and hear about the latest research and treatment developments. Please remember it is essential that you stay with our group at all times. You will visit a working research center and patient care institution and, therefore, you will not see every area of the facility. The goal is to provide you with a memorable visit without impeding the work at the hospital.

*If you are not feeling well, especially if you are feverish, nauseated or have a sore throat, please DO NOT go on the hospital tour. St. Jude patients have compromised immune systems and exposure to viruses could be detrimental to their health and recovery.

    Not Allowed:

In order to protect patient privacy, we do not permit cameras, recording devices or photos of patients or staff.

Please feel free to contact your St. Jude Representative should you have any questions or need additional information.
