For Lancôme, business isn’t just about helping women recapture their youth, it’s also about helping children survive theirs.
In 2010, Lancôme began a partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and raised money through “Génifique Day,” a fundraising effort with Génifique, Lancôme’s breakthrough skincare product based on genetic research. On “Génifique Day,” $7 from each Génifique product sold benefits. In partnership with Dillard’s stores for the promotion, the third year of the campaign raised more than $365,000 for the kids of St. Jude, offering the most beautiful thing of all—hope for children with cancer and other deadly diseases.
Lancôme has shown a true commitment to St. Jude through participation in events across the country. Lancôme was a Gold-level sponsor of the 2011 and 2012 St. Jude Memphis Marathon. In April 2013, Lancome makeup artists gave St. Jude teen patients the star treatment, helping them prepare for the St. Jude prom.
