2016 NATIONAL PANHELLENIC COUNCIL — CALL TO SERVICE

In September 2016, St. Jude held its annual National Panhellenic Council (NPHC) Call to Service event in celebration of the NPHC's partnership and yearly support of St. Jude kids. The event is held in Washington, D.C., during the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference (CBCALC) Weekend. The NPHC, which represents nine historically black Greek-letter organizations, has collectively raised more than $3 million for the children of St. Jude since 2008.

The 300+ attendees, including key NPHC leaders, heard from St. Jude patient D’Avalon on his experience with sickle cell disease, recognized fundraising contributors and were treated to a surprise performance from Grammy-nominated American R&B singer and songwriter Kelly Price.
