Mazda’s Drive for Good campaign benefits St. Jude



Since 2013, Mazda and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have built a strong partnership, with Mazda employees giving their time to volunteer at the hospital and raising more than $1.5 million to help the lifesaving mission. Through the Drive for Good campaign, Mazda aims to raise funds and awareness for St. Jude, among other charities. Now through Jan. 4, Mazda will donate $150 for every new Mazda purchased or leased during the promotion, to the purchaser’s choice of St. Jude or one of three other national charities.

In addition, Mazda generously donated a 2016 Launch Edition Miata that raised $50,000 for the hospital at our inaugural Hope in the Hamptons fundraiser. This was a memorable time for 5-year-old St. Jude patient Drew, who is a key aficionado, as Mazda presented him with a custom Mazda key fob, which he now carries with him.

St. Jude has helped improve the childhood cancer survival rate from less than 20 percent  when the hospital opened in 1962 to more than 80 percent today. And families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
