Rehabilitation Services Volunteer Opportunities

The Rehabilitation Services volunteers assist audiologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech therapists by assisting staff during treatment sessions as needed, visiting with and playing with siblings while patients participate in therapy sessions, cleaning and organizing toys and rehabilitation equipment, and making copies and creating patient education packets for families.


Rehabilitation Services volunteers must be available for one 4-hour shift per week at a regularly scheduled time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Must enjoy children and be sensitive to their needs, be physically able to stand, walk, sit, kneel and occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds. Must have professional and friendly mannerisms and work independently and effectively with others.
