Getting started

  1. Wills and bequests

Provide now for a future gift to St. Jude by including a provision in your will or other estate plans. You can specify how you would like us to use your gift.

  2. There are many benefits to including St. Jude in your will or bequest:

    • A bequest costs nothing now, yet gives you the satisfaction of knowing you have provided for a charity’s future
    • You retain control and use of your assets during your lifetime
    • You may modify your bequest if your circumstances change
    • Gifts from your estate may be exempt from federal estate taxes
  3. Our interactive brochure shows how wills and bequests can help St. Jude.

  4. Including St. Jude in your will also makes you eligible to become a member of the Danny Thomas — St. Jude Society. If you have already remembered St. Jude in your estate plan, please let us know so we may invite you to join in this exclusive group. This honor includes:

    • a personalized plaque on our Legacy Wall located in the hospital
    • inclusion in our annual publication of the Danny Thomas — St. Jude Society member listing
    • an invitation to our annual spring event at the hospital
    • invitations to donor appreciation luncheons in your area
