American Airlines: A Champion for St. Jude Thanks and Giving®
Once again, you worked tirelessly as a valuable partner during the St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign. Print and digital marketing—including a full-page ad in the December 2019 issue of American Way and a 30 second PSA supporting the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign.
Combined a $46,000 donation, the eye-catching ads certainly helped draw interest to both our campaign and our mission, and allowed St. Jude to focus support on other vital awareness needs.
Once again, you supported the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer. As a National Team for the 2019 event, American Airlines donated 200 airline travel certificates each worth 25,000 miles and totally valued at $147,500.
Even your employees stepped up and rallied for the cause. They not only participated in the walk/run, but they also raised almost $10,000.
With an audience reach of more than 2.1 million, you also led the way in the online space. More than 157.7 million website visits — up 32 percent year over year-helped create a strong connection to our mission.
Additionally, you sponsored Mile Marker 17 in the 2019 St. Jude Memphis Marathon® Weekend with St. Jude patient art letter Q.
