Doing More for the Kids of St. Jude
The mission of the Ann Taylor and LOFT brands are centered around evolving with the needs of women who live full, active lives. For more than 50 years, the relationships you've built have allowed you to not only become the go-to style destination but also to serve others. During our 13 year partnership, you have committed to putting the needs of patients and their families above all else, raising more than $54 million for St. Jude.
Throughout the years, your commitment to inspiring, empowering and engaging your clients and associates to give back has impacted lives nationwide. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is thankful to be one of many organizations on the receiving of your generosity.
To go the extra mile to celebrate your top performing Thanks and Giving® associates, you generously rewarded them with a trip to St. Jude for A Day of Service. Your event focused on celebrating the moms of St. Jude kids. Your associates graciously hosted a Mother's Day Brunch as well as a patient dinner at Target House. In the Fall the LOFT Art Party made a colorful splash for our patients, stroke by stroke. More than a crafting activity, LOFT used the artwork created at the party as assets for their spring collection.
The LOFT spring campaign raised nearly $2 million for the children of St. Jude. Your desire to inspire and help others cements our partnership and will continue to help ensure no family receives a bill from St. Jude for anything.
Going Above and Beyond During St. Jude Thanks and Giving®
The 2019 St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign would not have been a success without the dedication and commitment from partners like Ann Taylor and LOFT. You went above and beyond to show support for our 16th annual fundraiser, and your commitment to current and future donors was instrumental in building awareness for St. Jude during the holiday season.
Both in your stores and online, customers were invited to give thanks to for the healthy kids in their lives and to give to those who are not.
On GivingTuesday, Ann Taylor utilized social media platforms to raise additional funds by donating $1 for every comment made—up to $25,000—to St. Jude. Each effort not only raised awareness about St. Jude, but it also helped further our research and provide excellent care.
Because of you, St. Jude is able to save kids regardless of their financial situation. The values you continuously instill throughout your corporation—inspiration, versatility, confidence and optimism—are the values that create an immense and invaluable partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Because you are committed to going above and beyond, we are able to continue our lifesaving mission.
