Director: Stanley Pounds, PhD

Divisional Focus

The Division of Biostatistics for Genomics, Neuroimaging, and Basic Sciences collaborates with biomedical investigators in these fields to rigorously evaluate the biological and clinical relevance of genomic and neuroimaging characteristics in patients and laboratory models.  The Division includes faculty and support personnel with doctoral training in statistical and biological sciences.  We provide specialized expertise in study design, data analysis, and interpretation of findings for studies that utilize genomic, neuroimaging, and other high-dimensional biological data.  Division faculty members actively develop and apply innovative methods that integrate these large and complex data sets with other clinical and biological outcomes to effectively discover meaningful insights that guide future clinical and laboratory research.
