St. Jude employees navigate healthy food choices

St. Jude celebrated National Nutrition Month during March by hosting a health walk for employees through the hospital’s cafeteria, Kay Kafe. Sponsored by the hospital’s Clinical Nutrition department, Living Well Program and Food Services, the second annual Tour de Food event helped employees learn the healthiest ways to navigate through the cuisine offered in Kay Kafe. Hosts discussed how to recognize the necessary macronutrients in food and how to make healthier food choices.

Additional Nutrition Month events at St. Jude focused on healthy snacking, including a food demonstration and a healthy food awards program.
