When a child is diagnosed with a catastrophic disease, a family can be affected in many ways. The Psychology Clinic at St. Jude is available to provide a wide range of support services for St. Jude patients and their families. The Psychology Clinic at St. Jude provides consultation and intervention for a number of patient presenting concerns including (but not limited to):

Our patients may benefit from psychological services in a number of ways, including: exhibiting improved coping, mood, and behavior; being better at following medical plans such as taking medications, wearing masks, etc.; exhibiting decreased distress during medical procedures; and learning how to better manage pain.
