Tiltify Gift Credit

You can request a donor-advised fund distribution or an employer-matched gift to be credited to a Tiltify fundraising campaign for St. Jude.

Select the type of gift you’d like to credit to a Tiltify campaign:

  1. Step 1

Recommend a grant to St. Jude from your DAF through your fund administrator.
You can recommend a gift by contacting your fund administrator, using your fund administrator app, or by granting online (find yours here).

    Step 2

Save or screenshot the confirmation of your grant request submission.
After submitting your grant request, you should receive a confirmation screen or email showing the amount requested and the benefiting charity. Please screenshot or save the confirmation notice to be used in Step 3.

    Step 3

After requesting your gift distribution from your financial institution, fill out this form to have credit applied to a Tiltify campaign you’d like to support.

    Submit Your Gift Credit Request

  2. Step 1

Make a personal donation to a Tiltify campaign.

    Step 2

Search for your employer on the donation summary page.
After completing your donation, click “Search employers” on the donation summary page to see if your employer has a matching gift program. If so, select your employer to find details specific to your company such as minimum and maximum match amounts and other program guidelines.

    Step 3

Follow instructions to apply for a matching gift and confirm it has been submitted.
After selecting your employer, you will receive an email titled “Your St. Jude Donation Can Be Doubled Today” with instructions on how to submit your matching gift request. Once successfully submitted to your employer, click the green “I’ve Submitted My Matching Gift Request” button. The matching gift credit will then be applied to the campaign within 24 hours.

    Important Notes:

    • Employer matches should only be requested for personal donations, not the donations made by others
    • Employer-matching gift credits count toward the campaign total but are not eligible for donation rewards offered
    • Remember, matching gifts make a huge impact in helping fundraisers reach their goals and St. Jude fulfill its mission: Finding Cures. Saving Children.® Everywhere.

Employer-Matching Gifts

  1. A matching gift is when a person donates to a nonprofit organization and their employer donates an equal or greater amount to the same nonprofit. A matching gift is a great way for a donor to double or even triple their contribution to help St. Jude in finding cures for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

  2. If you didn't find your employer listed, there is a good chance it is not in the database or a formal matching gift program is not offered. To help encourage your employer to match gifts to St. Jude, you can use our templated letter and submit your request to your HR department.

If your company would like to feature St. Jude as a beneficiary for employee giving efforts, please email us at WorkplaceGiving@stjude.org and we’d be happy to help you get started! We would enjoy helping support your employee giving efforts and promoting St. Jude in your workplace.

  3. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law. St. Jude is a nonprofit charity operating since 1962. Our federal tax identification number is 62-0646012.

  4. If you previously unsubscribed to St. Jude emails, you will not receive the email needed to confirm your matching gift request. Not to worry — just email matchinggifts@stjude.org for assistance completing your request.

  5. Once your request has been successfully submitted to your employer, click the green “I’ve Submitted My Matching Gift Request” button in your email titled “Your St. Jude Donation Can Be Doubled Today.” The matching gift credit will then be applied to the campaign total within 24 hours, but will not be an itemized gift in the recent donor list.

  6. Sorry, only your personal donation made to the Tiltify campaign counts toward donation rewards. Your matching gift credit will count towards the event total but will not count toward donor donation rewards.

  7. All questions regarding matching gifts for St. Jude should be directed to matchinggifts@stjude.org or by calling (800) 871-2759. All other inquiries should be directed to Donor Services at (800) 822-6344.
