Gary LeVox, along with bandmates Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney, founded Rascal Flatts in 2000, and they went on to enjoy one of the most successful careers in modern country music. They scored 17 No. 1 singles and sold over 23 million albums, while also selling more than 11 million concert tickets and earning over 40 award-show trophies – making them the most-awarded country group in the last decade. After vaulting to stardom as charismatic presence and chief collaborator in Kid Rock’s Twisted Brown Trucker Band, the singer, songwriter and performer also known as Matthew Shafer kicked off a stunning solo career of his own. His major-label debut went double platinum and yielded the #1 smash “Follow Me.” Other hits reached gold status and spawned cross-format hits. His cover of “Drift Away” set a Billboard record for most weeks at #1 on any chart. Sixwire

The members of Sixwire have played countless hit records, written hits for many top artists and toured with hundreds of stars. They are the “go-to” house band for television (with appearances on American Idol, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, Saturday Night Live, The Grammy Awards and more) and have performed at Super Bowls 51, 54, and 56, The Daytona 500, the NHL All-Star Game and were ESPN’s first ever “house band” for the NFL draft. The band has been longtime supporters of St. Jude and have been involved with our organization’s events, helping to raise nearly $30 million for the kids.
