The families, who were welcomed Friday by First Lady Jill Biden, said they have experienced "unconditional kindness" during their 5,200-mile journey to secure cancer treatment for their children.
"You offer healing and hope," Dr. Biden said after meeting with Ukrainian evacuees receiving cancer treatment at St. Jude.
