  • Studying spinal cord circuits that control motor neuron firing and muscle contraction
  • Investigating the functional organization of spinal circuits governing motor output
  • Using genetic tools to analyze the identity, connectivity, and function of spinal motor neurons
  • Exploring interactions between spinal circuits, sensory input, and brain descending systems to control movement
