Short Biography

Sarah Currie joined St. Jude in 2023 as the chief nursing executive for the institution’s Magnet-recognized Nursing Services division. In partnership with the Nursing Executive team, Currie is responsible for setting the vision for nursing care across campus clinical areas as well as oversight for the Center of Advanced Practice, Nursing Excellence and Nursing Education which coordinates the institution’s nurse residency program. A native of England, Sarah has been a nurse for 40 years, with most of her bedside career spent in neonatal intensive care. She joined St. Jude from Children’s Wisconsin where she worked in progressive leadership roles for 21 years. Sarah is married with 3 grown children. When not working Sarah loves to swim, read historical biographies and travel.
