Research Interests

  • Develop standardized reporting systems, including:
    • Response assessment in neuro-oncologic imaging
    • Surveillance evaluation in tumor predisposition syndromes
  • Establish cerebrovascular reactivity (CVR) mapping as a diagnostic tool to:
    • Assess reserve capacity in treatment-induced cerebral arteriopathy among pediatric brain tumor survivors
    • Monitor non-oncologic pediatric-onset vasculopathies, including the effects of gene therapy and neurosurgical revascularization in sickle cell disease
    • Investigate the relationship between neurovascular coupling and oxygen metabolism in the state of chronic cerebral hypoperfusion, utilizing CVR perfusion imaging and PET neuroimaging with hypoxia-specific radiotracers
