Christopher B. George, MD joined the ALSAC/St. Jude Boards in 2008 and is the Chair of the St. Jude Board of Governors.
Dr. George is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Adult Medical Oncology and is a partner at Florida Cancer Specialists in Tampa.
He earned a Master of Science degree from the University of South Florida Department of Chemistry in 1972, where he was elected to the Phi Kappa Phi Graduate Honor Society, and a medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 1976, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
