Stella Lartey is a Program Coordinator, Health Systems Transversal Program for the department of Global Pediatric Medicine. In this role, Stella supports Health Systems strengthening projects and our work as the WHO Collaborating Centre for Childhood Cancer, reporting to Dr. Catherine Lam. 
    
Stella relocated from Norwich, UK, where she has served as Course Director and Lecturer at the Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia, after taking a one-year post-doctoral fellowship at Bloomington School of Public Health, Indiana, United States. She obtained her Ph.D. (Medical Studies) with majors in Health Economics and Epidemiology in Tasmania, Australia, MA in Economics in Calgary, Canada, MA in International Development in Niigata, Japan, and MPH in Accra, Ghana.

In addition to her many academic strengths, Stella brings more than a decade of experience working with the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Ghana, developing, coordinating, and implementing health systems and policy projects on behalf of the MoH with the UN and multilateral agencies. 

She looks forward to enriching St. Jude Global’s health policy and systems research portfolio and outputs as the WHO Collaborating Centre for Childhood Cancer.

Stella loves nature walks, reading both fiction and non-fiction genres, and singing.
