Edna Patterson is the Contracts Project Coordinator for the department of Global Pediatric Medicine. Edna has been with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 2018 serving in the Affiliate Program Office. Originally from Atlanta, she received her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and her master’s degree in Education from Keller Graduate School of Management.
Edna developed her contracts and grants experience at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business and Emory’s Winship Cancer Institute and Law School. As program manager for a technology-innovation program (TI:GER) and senior program coordinator for Transactional Law and Legal Writing centers, Edna’s expertise includes administrative and operations development and budget and contracts management.
In Atlanta, Edna worked with several churches and non-profit organizations offering wide-ranging administrative services including website creation, grant research and submissions, and marketing and advertising consultation. Following in her parents’ gospel entertainment footsteps, she was a concert promoter and radio personality for five years.
