Research Interests
- Regulation of cell division, apoptosis and ribosome biogenesis
- Intrinsically disordered proteins, including p21- and p27-mediated regulation of Cdks that control cell division
- Molecular mechanisms by which cytosolic p53 regulates intrinsic apoptosis
- Phase separation in nucleolar structure, function and dynamics and how this relates to neurodegenerative diseases
