Robyn oversees the legal affairs, technology transfer, compliance, internal audit, and government affairs offices and manages outside counsel relationships. She is a member of St. Jude’s Executive Committee, Compliance Steering Committee, and Conflicts of Interest Committee and serves as the Institutional Official overseeing compliance with federal-wide assurances. Before joining St. Jude, Robyn was a member of the in-house legal team at MedStar Health in the Washington, DC region, served as an Adjunct Instructor and Academic Preceptor with the Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies, and was an attorney with Crowell & Moring, LLP. Robyn is a frequent speaker at legal industry conferences on topics as varied as ethical and legal issues in research, navigating the pandemic, DE&I initiatives, and data privacy and social media issues. She has been featured on multiple podcasts, including the Women in the Law – On the Record Podcast and the American Health Law Association’s Speaking of Health Law Podcast Series, and has been recognized as “Best of the Bar” and among “Women Who Lead in the Law” by the Memphis Business Journal. Robyn serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Memphis Child Advocacy Center, is a past Chair of the Memphis Bar Association Health Law Section and the District of Columbia Bar Health Law Section, and formerly served as Chair of the University of Memphis School of Law Institute for Health Law & Policy Advisory Board.
