Milena Fraustro

I was born and raised in Mexico City, where I earned my medical degree with honorable mention from La Facultad Mexicana de Medicina de la Universidad La Salle. I completed my pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida, where I solidified my passion for pediatric hematology/oncology. During residency, I was actively involved in quality improvement initiatives and served as a class representative on the Graduate Medical Education Committee, advocating for residents and contributing to institutional decision-making. My dedication was recognized with three awards: Best NICU Resident, Best Hematology/Oncology Resident, and Best Overall Resident, as voted by the attending physicians. My clinical interests include solid tumors, hyperinflammation, and pediatric critical care. I am passionate about integrating evidence-based medicine with compassionate, patient-centered care, and I am thrilled to join the St. Jude family, where I know I will be able to further develop these interests. Outside of medicine, I enjoy running, playing tennis, and spending time outdoors.
