Brooke Happ, MPH

As Global Infectious Diseases coordinator in the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine, Brooke Happ, MPH, is responsible for coordinating, implementing and overseeing projects related to St. Jude Global’s Infectious Disease initiatives around the world. She trains and supports partner sites on implementing prospective surveillance of health care-associated infections, facilitates courses on infection prevention and infection care through the St. Jude Global Academy, and works on other education, capacity building, quality improvement and research initiatives.
Before coming to St. Jude, Brooke worked as an epidemiologist at the Kentucky Department for Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has experience in general infectious disease surveillance, vector-borne diseases, foodborne and waterborne diseases, and public health preparedness. Brooke holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from the University of Kentucky.
Brooke is passionate about data, disease surveillance and infection prevention. She is thrilled be a part of the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine and take the mission of St. Jude to the world.
