Jason Sonnenfelt, MPA, is Project Coordinator for Distance Learning with GPM. He oversees the team of instructional designers and multimedia developers responsible for Cure4Kids Classrooms, the online sections of Global Academies, and contributing to the St. Jude Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Previously, he was an instructional learning designer at GPM.

Before joining St. Jude, Jason served in a similar capacity at Christian Brothers University, the University of Memphis and as a federal contractor.

In addition to having developed both learning and knowledge management systems, he has served as a project manager and technical lead, completed numerous government contracts for quantitative research, qualitative research, online training and social media marketing. Jason has also taught academic classes and conducted professional development trainings on a range of topics including instructional design, ethics, urban policy, technology policy, management information systems and strategic planning.

Jason has a bachelor’s degree in history from Macalester College and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska. While originally from Nebraska, Jason has lived in Germany, Hong Kong, Minneapolis and Washington before making Memphis home. He has three crazy rescue dogs, a surprisingly sane girlfriend, and coaches high school football to keep himself active.
