Sarah Wright leads a tour.
Sarah Wright first volunteered at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 2005 and 2006. She returned to volunteer again in 2015 and has had many different roles, including being a tour guide, working with Child Life and helping with special events.
“One of the things that I enjoy the most about serving as a tour guide is getting to share St. Jude with people from around the world,” Sarah says. “The majority of the guests on my tour are from somewhere other than the Memphis area. Some of the people on the tour are donors; some are considering becoming donors.”
Sarah says she believes that “St. Jude is changing and has changed the world for the better.”
When Sarah isn’t volunteering you can find her teaching Pilates and Pilates Barre in the Living Well Center on campus.
“To be able to be a part of this place—no matter how teeny my role is—is incredibly rewarding,” she says.
