Kubra Bahcivanci, MBA

Kubra Bahcivanci is a data-driven healthcare professional dedicated to improving clinical research through systems optimization and evidence-based innovation. Originally from Eskisehir, Turkey, she brings a unique blend of technical training and operational insight to her role as Associate Epidemiologist–Data Wrangler in the Department of Epidemiology and Cancer Control at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Bahcivanci holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Chatham University, and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Eskisehir Osmangazi University. Her early background in engineering has shaped her systems-oriented approach to clinical research—focusing on how infrastructure, data, and processes can be optimized to improve healthcare outcomes.

She has contributed to two of St. Jude’s most impactful studies—the Sickle Cell Clinical Research and Intervention Program (SCCRIP) and the St. Jude Lifetime Cohort Study (SJLIFE)—where she has played a key role in ensuring data integrity and supporting scalable, sustainable research operations. Her interests lie at the intersection of epidemiology, data science, and healthcare systems, with a particular passion for using innovative technologies and quality improvement methodologies to streamline clinical studies and enhance the impact of research findings.

By pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Investigations at the St. Jude Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Bahcivanci aims to deepen her understanding of research design and methodologies, enabling her to better bridge the gap between technical and clinical teams. Her goal is to help shape the future of clinical research by advancing collaborative, efficient systems that empower discovery and improve outcomes for children around the world.
