Shruthi Suryaprakash, MD

Shruthi Suryaprakash, MD, is a bone marrow transplant physician at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital specializing in transplant and gene therapy for non-malignant hematological diseases. She also serves as an instructor in the Department of Hematology.

Born in Singapore, she completed her Bachelor of Engineering degree at Nanyang Technological University before earning her Doctor of Medicine from Duke NUS Medical School. She completed her residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in 2022 before joining St. Jude that same year to begin her clinical fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. 

Suryaprakash’s experience also extends to several research assistantships at Harvard Medical School, Nanyang and KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital.
