Sophie Tilley, PharmD

Sophie Tilley, PharmD, is a Clinical Pharmacy Research Fellow at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she is committed to advancing pediatric oncology through precision medicine and supportive care innovation. A two-time pharmacy resident—most recently completing a PGY-2 in Oncology at St. Jude—Tilley brings a strong foundation in patient-centered care, research, and clinical leadership to her role in the evolving field of pediatric cancer therapeutics.

Her research interests span pediatric solid tumors, pharmacogenomics, and improving supportive care outcomes. She has contributed to the literature with publications exploring factors influencing therapy adherence in oncology populations and continues to seek opportunities to bridge the gap between clinical care and research through thoughtfully designed studies that reflect the unique needs of pediatric patients.

Tilley’s passion for oncology is deeply personal. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma as a child, she experienced firsthand the impact of compassionate care and rigorous science—and that experience continues to fuel her mission to improve treatment and outcomes for others. Through the Master’s in Clinical Investigations program at the St. Jude Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, she aims to deepen her expertise in trial design and research methodology, equipping herself to lead high-impact studies that shape the future of pediatric oncology.
