Participants who choose to fundraise are called St. Jude Heroes. Registration fees help us put on the race; donating or fundraising as a St. Jude Hero directly helps St. Jude kids. Fundraising is not required for general registrants, but all participants are given a fundraising page and other tools when they sign up.
Registration for the kids marathon opens August 1!
Pack your shoes for the home of the blues
- Marathon weekend is the biggest event of the year in historic Memphis, Tenn., home of the blues and birthplace of rock 'n' roll.
- Every race course passes through the campus of St. Jude, one of the world's premier pediatric cancer research centers.
- Though fundraising is not required, all participants get the tools and guidance they need to fundraise as a St. Jude Hero when they sign up.
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Learn how your race can mean more when you fundraise.
The fundraising deadline for St. Jude Heroes is January 5, 2018.
