BECOME A ST. JUDE HERO

St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer. St. Jude Heroes are helping us get there.

Do more with your race

Participants who fundraise at least $250 for St. Jude while training for any St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend race become part of a nationwide alliance against childhood cancer. We call them St. Jude Heroes.

The St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend is the pinnacle event for the St. Jude Heroes program as the largest single-day fundraising event for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. St. Jude Heroes aren't just participating in their race; they're using their strength to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Registration fees help us put on a great race, but St. Jude relies on fundraisers and direct donations.

There are two ways to be a St. Jude Hero

  1. Sign up prior to general registration (i.e., before June 3) at the Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze fundraising level, and get exclusive benefits and race-weekend perks.
  2. Register during general registration (June 3 or after) and raise at least $250. You'll earn a St. Jude singlet to wear race weekend, and have the chance earn other prizes based on how much you raise.

St. Jude Heroes receive:

  • a training plan with coaching videos
  • a personal fundraising website
  • fundraising support, including weekly emails with tips

St. Jude Heroes can earn:

Best of all, when you cross the finish line, you'll know that what you've accomplished has made an impact far beyond your race.

All St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend participants are given the opportunity to fundraise. While fundraising is not required for general registrants, it's the best way to support the kids of St. Jude. We’ll give you everything you need — simply log in to your participant center after you register, and we’ll guide you from there.

We encourage all participants to meet their fundraising goal by race weekend, but Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze St. Jude Heroes have until January 3, 2020 to raise their committed amount.
