Fair Berg is a research scientist for the St. Jude Global Academy in the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Her work focuses on research and evaluation for global pediatric hematology-oncology training initiatives, with emphasis on workforce development, learning outcomes, data quality, and evidence-informed improvement of professional training programs.
She brings more than 15 years of experience across global pediatric medicine, higher education, program evaluation, organizational effectiveness, and learning leadership. In her current role, she supports research design, evaluation strategy, data collection, data analysis, and dissemination for multi-stakeholder global training initiatives. Her work includes developing and refining evaluation instruments, supporting quantitative and qualitative analyses, synthesizing open-ended data, preparing figures and internal reports, and contributing to peer-reviewed manuscripts and abstracts. Her research interests include continuing professional development for healthcare professionals, evaluation of global medical training interventions, mixed-methods evaluation of learning outcomes and perceived impact, pediatric oncology workforce development, qualitative research methods, and responsible use of AI-supported tools in medical research and training contexts.
