Short Biography
Leeanna Fox Irwin is the Program Manager-Professional Education, Global Clinical Training Programs for Global Pediatric Medicine. Leeanna has been at St. Jude since 2015, when she joined the institution as Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Coordinator.
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee, Leeanna taught high school for more than four years. While teaching, she obtained her Master of Arts in Education from Union University, also in Jackson.
In 2009 she left teaching and began working at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center as a Program Coordinator for three pediatric fellowship programs at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. During that time, she was given the opportunity to chair the committee that wrote the National Certification Exam for Pediatric Emergency Medicine Coordinators.
