Short Biography
Anna Sonkin, MD, is a Program Coordinator, Euro Regional Program for the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine.
Anna joined GPM as a contractor in May 2022. She managed the Virtual Command Center for SAFER Ukraine, liaised relationships with multiple stakeholders supporting the initiative, as well as coordinated research and publication efforts related to SAFER Ukraine.
Anna is a physician, medical educator, and entrepreneur fluent in Russian, specializing in pediatric palliative care and medical communication skills.
Outside of work, Anna is a lyric mezzo-soprano and studies operatic singing. She has two teenage daughters and lives in New York City.
