Short Biography
Among her many responsibilities in this role, Bethany supports the operations of distance learning and manages communications with internal and external stakeholders.
Bethany is a Massachusetts native who earned both her bachelor's in English and MBA at Bridgewater State University. Not long after graduating, she entered the world of healthcare, where her passion for health equity, patient safety and quality, distance learning, and improving patient outcomes globally was born. Bethany worked at Boston Children’s Hospital for nearly a decade, both in the Program for Patient Safety and Quality and the OPENPediatrics Program. She most recently served as the director of business development at Southcoast Behavioral Health, an inpatient behavioral health hospital in Massachusetts.
When not working, Bethany loves music, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three young children. She has admired the work done at St. Jude for as long as she can remember; this, along with her passion for distance learning and improving patient outcomes, ultimately led her to this role with the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine.
Bethany is excited to begin her career with St. Jude and looks forward to collaborating with professionals across the globe to improve access to care for all children.
