In the past decade, St. Jude has been recognized as a top charity by some of the world’s leading charity evaluators. We've also received a favorable rating by the American Institute of Philanthropy, as well as by the financial-rating agency Moody’s and Fitch (Fitch Ratings).

St. Jude (along with ALSAC) is an accredited charity with the BBB, meeting all 20 standards for charity accountability.

ALSAC-St. Jude has a four-star rating for accountability and finance from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent evaluator. The rating is based on an assessment of financial efficiency, sustainability and trustworthiness.

What percentage of my donation supports patients and research?
Unlike other hospitals, the majority of funding for St. Jude comes from generous donors. Eighty-two cents of every dollar donated to St. Jude over the last seven years has gone toward funding research, treatment and our operations. The remaining 18 cents support fundraising efforts, such as the St. Jude Walk and administration costs.
