Kansas City area high schools are teaming up during September for National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to raise support for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: the leader in pediatric research and development of new cures for cancers and other diseases – cures which are then shared with hospitals around the world!

This September, area high schools will wear gold, the color chosen to commemorate and represent National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, at specially designated football games and other athletic events in order to raise awareness and support in the fight against pediatric cancer.

One-third of patients at St. Jude are teenagers, ages 15 to 19. With your support, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
