Celebrating 20 years running
Join us for the 20th anniversary of the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend Presented by Juice Plus+! As the pinnacle event for the St. Jude Heroes program, participants can choose their distance, including a marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K or the 4-Race Challenge (take on all four distances) or the 2-Race Challenge (choose two distances). Participants also have the choice to run in-person in Memphis, or virtually from wherever they are. Registration is open now. Race day is Saturday, December 4, 2021.
Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series
St. Jude is honored to be the National Featured Charity for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series, as well as the title partner for the St. Jude Rock 'n' Roll Running Series Seattle and St. Jude Rock 'n' Roll Running Series Nashville. Run for free when you register as a committed St. Jude fundraiser for most Rock ‘n’ Roll events in the U.S.
100 Mile Run Challenge*
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is currently promoting a July “100 Mile Run Challenge” exclusively on Facebook. Participants within the “100 Mile Run Challenge” Facebook Group track their miles and fundraise during this time to support the kids of St. Jude.
*This is a St. Jude fitness challenge, but not a St. Jude Heroes event.
Become a St. Jude Hero Ambassador
St. Jude Hero Ambassadors are a dedicated group of accomplished St. Jude Heroes who are passionate about St. Jude and endurance events. They help further the St. Jude mission by sharing their experiences to help recruit and steward St. Jude Heroes – providing tips for fundraising success and building a community of St. Jude Heroes across the country.
In light of current health concerns surrounding COVID-19, we support and respect the decisions being made globally to cancel or postpone certain events to protect participants. See if an event you're registered for has been impacted.
Be a St. Jude Hero, and run for the kids of St. Jude
Runners who fundraise at least $250 for St. Jude while training for their race are part of a nationwide alliance against childhood cancer. They're called St. Jude Heroes.
Registering for your race as a St. Jude Hero means an online training program, race-day extras — from a St. Jude singlet to hotel accommodations, depending on your event and fundraising commitment — and possibly even entry into the most exclusive races in the world. You can also earn additional prizes based on how much you raise.

To get started, sign up, and let us know the date of your race during registration.
How fundraising helps
The money that St. Jude Heroes raise helps ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
As a St. Jude Hero, you'll help kids, like Luigi, who was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer called medulloblastoma. Luigi loves music and dancing. He’s also a budding artist who likes to create robot costumes out of paper. “He’s very creative, outgoing and friendly,” said his dad. Luigi is finished with treatment and returns to St. Jude for regular scans.
