St. Jude has entries for some of the running world's greatest events
A limited number of entries for the Abbott World Marathon Majors - a series of the most renowned marathons in the world - are available for St. Jude Heroes. Whether you're looking to run your first World Marathon Major or are headed for your series finisher medal, St. Jude can help you get there.
Be a St. Jude Hero, and run for the kids of St. Jude
Run, ride and triathlon participants who fundraise at least $250 for St. Jude while training for their race are part of a nationwide alliance against childhood cancer. They're called St. Jude Heroes.
Registering for your race as a St. Jude Hero means an online training program, race-day extras — from a St. Jude singlet to hotel accommodations, depending on your event and fundraising commitment — and possibly even entry into the most exclusive races in the world. You can also earn additional prizes based on how much you raise.
Download the St. Jude Heroes app to track your runs and your fundraising.

How fundraising helps
St. Jude freely shares research
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped raise the survival rate for children with cancer in the United States, where more than 4 out of 5 children survive cancer. In many developing countries, however, fewer than 1 out of 5 children diagnosed with cancer will survive. We won’t stop until no child dies from cancer, no matter where they live.
We won't stop.™
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Families never receive a bill
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food—so they can focus on helping their child live.
