2021 St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend

We believe that ensuring a safe environment is everyone’s responsibility. Please help us by doing your part to contribute to the overall safety of the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend by adhering to the following health and safety protocols for event weekend.

 

All 2021 St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend registered participants as well as all guests, volunteers and partners MUST:

  • Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a negative COVID-19 test result that has been administered between Wednesday, Dec. 1- Friday, Dec. 3. Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is defined as individuals who are two weeks after receiving the second dose in a two-dose vaccine series or two weeks after receiving the single-dose vaccine. 

    Verification of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test result will be required prior to entry into any official event weekend activities. Verification process details will be communicated in November.
  • Wear a mask during the following:
    - Health & Fitness Expo
    - Platinum Premier Welcome Party
    - VIP Reception
    - St. Jude Heroes Pasta Party
    - St. Jude Heroes Hospitality
    - Other event weekend activities as required by event officials
  • Be free of COVID-19 symptoms within 10 days of attending St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend, such as:
    - Fever
    - Chills
    - Cough
    - Shortness of breath
    - Body aches
    - Loss of sense of smell or taste
 
 

What to expect event weekend

Health & Fitness Expo
Prior to entry of the Health & Fitness Expo, all attendees will be required to: wear a mask, verify proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test that has been administered between Wednesday, Dec. 1- Friday, Dec. 3 and be free of COVID-19 symptoms within 10 days. All attendees will be encouraged to socially distance to move through packet pick-up and expo areas while being mindful of time spent in specific locations.

Race Day
Race day requirements and protocols will be communicated in November.

 
 

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. You may switch your race to our virtual experience or cancel your registration. A one-time registration change can be made to participate virtually by emailing marathon@stjude.org.

    Please note: All virtual registrations after Oct. 15 will not be guaranteed to receive race gear prior to race day. No transfers between individuals nor any deferments to a future St. Jude Heroes event will be permitted. All registration fees and funds raised to-date will be donated to the kids of St. Jude. Please see our cancellation and refund policy.

    • You may make a one-time registration change. All requests to transfer from virtual to in-person or from in-person to virtual must be received by October 15 by emailing marathon@stjude.org.
      Please note: All virtual registrations after Oct. 15 will not be guaranteed to receive race gear prior to race day. There are no transfers between individuals nor any deferments to a future St. Jude Heroes event. All funds raised to-date will be donated to the kids of St. Jude.

    • All attendees ages 2 - 11 must wear a mask at all times while indoors, be free of COVID-19 symptoms within 10 days and a provide negative COVID-19 test that has been administered between Wednesday, Dec. 1- Friday, Dec. 3.
    • All attendees ages 12 and up must wear a mask at all times while indoors, be free of COVID-19 symptoms within 10 days and provide either (1) proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or (2) a negative COVID-19 test that has been administered between Wednesday, Dec. 1- Friday, Dec. 3.
