Vaccines Bring us Closer logo

Thousands of essential workers at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, including our doctors, nurses, scientists, food service workers, cleaning staff, and other vital support employees have received the COVID-19 vaccine. Getting vaccinated is vital to protect our patients. We ask that you join us in being an advocate for COVID-19 vaccines in the Memphis community.

Our request is simple: Get vaccinated. In doing so, you protect yourself, your co-workers, your loved ones, and your community.

We know the COVID-19 vaccine helps prevent severe illness, hospitalization and death

COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. A vaccine booster dose improves protection against COVID-19 variants, including omicron, and is strongly recommended. From our own research here at St. Jude, we know that the COVID-19 vaccines work to prevent infection on our campus.

Now, everyone ages 6 months and older is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine. We encourage you to stay up-to-date on vaccination and be a champion for COVID-19 vaccines. Visit to schedule a vaccine in your community.
