About

Dr. Wojciech Rosikiewicz is a computational scientist experienced in studying the pathology of various blood cancers, especially Diffused Large B-cell Lymphoma. He applied known and also developed novel bioinformatics approaches to analyze and integrate genomics and epigenomics data, mostly taking advantage of Python programming language and machine learning. He has experience on various next generation sequencing data types, such as histone modifications (ChIP-Seq), DNA methylation and hydroxymethylation (RRBS, WGBS, oxBS, ACE-Seq, hMeDIP-Seq), chromatin 3D structure (HiC), Oxford Nanopore sequencing data and transcriptomic data (RNA-Seq, expression microarrays, TSS-Seq). He also learned HTML, PHP and MySQL that allow him to develop the following on-line databases, providing researchers access to his work:

Research Interests

  • The pathology of various blood cancers
  • Regulation of gene expression
  • Epigenetics
